Plymouth's Sundial is one of the most recognised landmarks of Plymouth's City Centre. Not only does it tell the time, but it is one of the most popular meeting points. Designed by Carole Vincent from Boscastle, Cornwall, and built in 1988, it apparently cost £70000 to make and runs one hour and seventeen minutes behind local clocks (as written here)! Perhaps they should have paid more to get one that's on time ;)
Due to it being one of the main meeting places and an easy to find location, we are using it as the reference point on this site to find other places.
